Stop dreaming.
Start doing.

The complete roadmap to CRNA school — the program most aspiring CRNAs start with. The strategy I wish I'd had when I was where you are.

Amanda Kay MSN CRNA - how to get into CRNA school coaching and roadmap

If you've been here, you're in the right place.

You've been thinking about CRNA school for a while. Maybe years. You've watched other people apply, get in, post graduation photos. You've told yourself this year — and then another year went by.

Maybe you've already applied. Maybe you were rejected. Maybe you were waitlisted and never got the call. Maybe a program told you not yet and you're not sure what they meant or what to do with that.

Or maybe you have an interview coming up and the closer it gets, the more you're convinced you're going to blow it.

Friend, I've been every single one of those people. And I built the Roadmap because nobody handed me one when I was where you are — and the road was longer and lonelier than it needed to be.

The 4-Step Process

My tested blueprint for getting in — the same one I walk every coaching client through.

1

Decide

Make a real, decisive commitment. Not the half-in version. The version with a yes inside it.

2

Plan

Craft the foolproof plan. School selection, ICU experience, GPA strategy, timeline.

3

Do

Take action without waiting to feel ready. Every action step, in the right order.

4

Tweak, Repeat

Refine based on feedback. Got a "not yet"? You tweak and you repeat.

What's inside

Everything you need, in one place. Self-paced, lifetime access.

  • The full 4-Step Process — decide, plan, do, tweak, repeat. The blueprint your application actually follows.
  • School selection strategy — how to pick programs you'll actually get into.
  • ICU experience guidance — what counts, what doesn't, what to do if you're not in the "right" ICU yet.
  • Resume, personal statement & interview tips — expert insights for every part of the application package.
  • The mindset success hack — the inner work that separates the applicants who get in from the ones who almost did.
  • Guidance for the hard moments — what to do if you're waitlisted, told "not yet," or invited for an interview that scares you.
  • FAQs on the tricky stuff — GPA below a certain number, travel nursing, science course requirements, gap years.
  • The Ultimate Interview Prep Bundle included — a $100 program included with your Roadmap.

About your guide

I took the scenic route. So you don't have to.

I'm Amanda Kay, MSN, CRNA. Before I became a nurse anesthetist, I was a bedside RN working in Med-Surg Telemetry, Palliative Care, Forensic Nursing, and Trauma — as both a staff nurse and a travel nurse. CCRN, CEN, TNCC certified. BSN with high honors from Illinois State.

I went to graduate school in New England. I made it. And for the last six years, I've coached aspiring CRNAs from their very first thought about the profession all the way to their acceptance call.

The Roadmap is everything I learned the hard way, organized so you don't have to.

The honest questions

FAQ.

What if my GPA isn't great?

Then you're exactly who the Roadmap is for. There's a whole section on how to address a lower GPA — when to retake courses, when not to, and how to frame the story honestly in your application. A GPA below what programs "want" is not a dealbreaker if you handle it right.

I'm a travel nurse. Does my ICU experience count?

Most of the time, yes — but there's nuance, and the Roadmap walks you through it. Travel ICU experience can absolutely get you in. There are also things programs care about that pure travel time doesn't always cover. We address all of it.

I haven't taken all the science prerequisites yet. Should I wait?

No. Start the Roadmap now. Part of the planning step is laying out exactly which courses you still need, in what order, and how to time them so you're not delaying your applications unnecessarily.

How long does the Roadmap take to go through?

It's self-paced, with lifetime access. Some people work through it in two weeks. Others take it slower over a few months as they actually do the application work. Either way is right.

Is the interview prep really included?

Yes. The Ultimate CRNA School Interview Prep Bundle (a $100 product on its own) is included with your Roadmap at no additional cost.

What if I'm not ready to spend $297 yet?

Then start with the free workbook. It's a real, useful resource — not a watered-down version. Many people work through the workbook first and join the Roadmap when they're ready. Grab the free workbook below →
