For NARs (final year) For new-grad CRNAs NCE / SEE prep Job selection

Pass boards.
Pick the right job.

The kit for the final stretch of CRNA school and the first year after. Boards prep on one side. Real guidance on finding, evaluating, and choosing the right first job on the other. The two things nobody really teaches you, in one place.

Amanda Kay MSN CRNA - CRNA boards prep and new grad guide

The end of school is its own version of the beginning.

You spent two-and-a-half to three years getting through the program. You learned the pharmacology. You did the cases. You survived the preceptors who didn't like you and the ones who became mentors.

And now the two things that decide your next decade are still in front of you: the National Certification Exam, and your first contract.

Pass the NCE and you're a CRNA. Sign the right contract and you build a career you actually like. Sign the wrong one and you spend three years stuck somewhere you don't want to be, working a schedule that's wearing you down, with restrictive covenants that make leaving hard.

This kit is for that exact moment. The last six months of school, the first six months after. The transition that happens too fast and is impossible to prepare for by yourself.

The two pillars

📝

Pillar 1 — Boards Prep

How to study for the SEE while you're still in school. How to study for the NCE in the months after graduation. Test-taking strategy, study planning, the mindset to walk into the exam room calm.

💼

Pillar 2 — Choosing Your First Job

How to find offers worth applying to. What to actually compare across contracts. What to negotiate. How to spot the red flags that make people leave their first job inside a year.

What's inside

Lifetime access. Everything organized so you can work through it on your schedule.

★ Who this is for

The 6-months-out window.

This kit is built for the time period from about 6 months before graduation through your first year as a practicing CRNA. If you're earlier in school, the boards content is too early — bookmark it. If you've been a CRNA for a few years already, the job content might still be useful when you're considering a move, but the boards prep won't be.

The sweet spot: NARs in their last year, new grads in their first six months post-graduation, and CRNAs about to take the NCE for the first time.

In their own words

From NAR to settled CRNA.

"The SEE plan was the first time anyone had told me HOW to study while still doing clinicals. I'd been burning myself out trying to do both at full intensity. Amanda's approach actually let me do both well."
C.H. · NAR · Final year
"I almost signed a contract that had a 30-mile non-compete in a city where the only other anesthesia jobs were 35 miles away. The red-flag checklist caught it. I asked for it to be removed and they said yes. Career saved."
L.O. · CRNA · Class of 2024
"What I needed wasn't more pharm content — there's a thousand resources for that. What I needed was someone telling me how to actually fit board prep into a life that still includes clinical days, sleep, and not losing it. This kit was that."
R.M. · CRNA · Passed NCE on first attempt

About your guide

I built this from what nobody told me.

I'm Amanda Kay, MSN, CRNA. I've been a CRNA since 2017. I've worked in multiple practice settings — hospitals, offices, surgi-centers. I've signed good contracts and watched friends sign bad ones. I've taken the NCE and coached dozens of people through theirs.

The boards prep content is what I wish I'd had when I was studying. The job-selection content is what I've learned by working in this field for years and watching what separates the new CRNAs who love their first jobs from the ones counting down to when they can leave.

The honest questions

FAQ.

Is this enough to pass the NCE?

The kit is strategy and structure — the how of board prep, not the content itself. You'll still need a question bank and content review (APEX, Valley, etc.). What this kit does is help you use those resources well: a study plan, the right order, test-taking strategy, mindset for exam day. The combination of a strong content provider + this kit is what works.

I haven't graduated yet. Should I buy now or later?

Buy when you're about 6 months out. Earlier than that and the boards content is too far ahead; the job-search content also won't apply until you're closer to graduating. The sweet spot is the second half of your final year.

I'm already a practicing CRNA. Is the job content still useful?

Possibly. If you're happy where you are, save your $97. If you're considering a move — different employer, different city, different practice model — the contract evaluation framework and red-flag checklist still apply. The new-grad-specific stuff (first 90 days) won't.

Does this overlap with the Drug Drawer Guide?

No — different scope. The Drug Drawer Guide is a clinical reference for the OR. Boards & Beyond is a strategy kit for the exam and the job search. Some people buy both; they don't replace each other.

How long do I have access?

Lifetime. The course starts now and never ends. Use it for the SEE, come back for the NCE, return to the job content when you're contracting.

What if I'm unhappy?

30-day full refund, no questions asked.

The transition deserves a plan

Pass boards. Pick the right job. Don't wing either one.

The end of CRNA school happens fast. So does the first job decision. $97 to walk into both with a real strategy instead of crossed fingers.
